Diary,
We are in a new town now. We have just settled into our new place in the beautiful Rochester, New York. We have not had the time to go hunting yet, but we decided to take some time to explore the new territory, and learn about the people. We were introduced to a beautiful young lady. Her name is Rosalie Hale; she is so beautiful she looks like she could be one of us. However she is human. She didn’t seem to like us very much, particularly Edward. Edward later told us that she thought he was very rude, and un-gentleman like. It upsets me to think anyone would dislike my sweet boy. He also shared with me that Rosalie was jealous of how gorgeous my wonderful Carlisle is. That made me giggle, he is quite stunning.
After our run in with Miss Rosalie Hale we finished our tour of the town, and went for a hunt. There was a lovely patch of woods just beyond our beautiful house. Edward and I went hunting together, while Carlisle stayed behind to set up a surprise for me in our new home. He wouldn’t tell me what it was, and I tried asking Edward. He wouldn’t share either, saying he didn’t want to ruin the surprise, but promised I would like it. I feel like such a child sometimes with my Carlisle. He makes me so happy.
We finally finished our hunt, and returned back to the house. As soon as I walked in it caught my eye, Carlisle had redecorated our entire living room. When I say redecorated I mean completely redesigned. Everything was different; it let in so much light. It was amazing. I feel so at home here now, I feel as if we can truly be ourselves and not worry if anyone will see us. It is the best feeling. I don’t think I can thank my Carlisle enough for this. I should go now, and spend time with my wonderful little family, and thank my wonderful husband for my surprise, I love him so much.
Always,
Esme Cullen
