Diary,

The last time I wrote I was very upset about Rosalie getting revenge on those poor boys that hurt her. Since then things have gone back to normal, it has been pretty calm here. Edward has been helping me out alot in the kitchen. I think he enjoys helping the less fortunate people as well. We have gotten quite good at cooking without being able to taste our food, everyone seems to enjoy it. I really do need to re-stock the kitchen soon.

When I am not keeping myself busy in the kitchen I try to spend as much time as I can with my Carlisle. He is always so busy with work and schooling for work; it feels like I hardly ever get to see him anymore. I enjoy every minute I get to spend with him, I cherish him and love him with all my heart. Even though it is hard for me when he is away all the time, I am really very proud of him, his strength and how much he cares, it astonishes me. I feel weak from the smell of the blood after visiting him at work for only a few minutes. I don’t know how he does it.

This next week is going to be so hard, he has a meeting in New York he has to go to for work, and I cannot go with him. We have to try to stay away from the areas we have lived and that is just too close. I always feel so empty and lost when he is gone, I will have to try to plan something with the kids to keep my mind busy.

I am going to go talk to the kids to see if they want to do something with me while Carlisle is gone. Then I am going to spend as much time as I can with my husband. I am going to miss him.
