Diary,
I have the most amazing husband. My Carlisle bought me an entire island for Valentines Day. He even named it after me, Isle Esme. It is the most gorgeous place I have ever seen.
He told me he had a huge surprise for me on the 12th, and told me to pack for a week. He would not tell me why, he only told me to pack lightly. We then went to the airport and boarded our own private plane. We flew for a while, talking to each other when suddenly he told me to trust him as he blind folded me. I felt the plane land shortly after. As we got off the plane a wonderful aroma filled my nose; a mixture of my sweet smelling husband, salt water, and fresh greenery. I could only imagine what everything looked like, as I was still blindfolded. He lead me to a house, opened the door and swept me off my feet and carried me in. Once we were inside he removed my blindfold. I was in utter awe.
We were on an island, I wasn’t sure exactly where it was but it was breathtaking. Crystal clear ocean surrounded us, the sand looked as smooth as velvet, there were trees and plants everywhere, and I can’t even find the words to describe the house. It is amazing, and I have free range to decorate however I like (including remodeling if I wish, which I don’t think I will).
We spent the entire week together alone on my island. I had the best time. We talked about anything and everything, we swam in the stunning ocean, and spent plenty of quality time together. I love him more and more every day.
Even though our vacation was wonderful I am glad to be home. I missed Edward, he is my one and only son, and I worry about him like any mother would. His piano does not seem to distract him as much as it used to. But he still plays a lot, and he still lights up when he plays, especially when he plays Esme’s song for me. It makes me smile everytime to hear through his music how much my son loves me.
I am going to go spend time with my wonderful family, I couldn’t ask for anyone better. I love both of my boys so much.
Always,
Esme
