Alice's Diary (6)

April 22nd, 1919
This will not be a long entry. I felt like the house was empty before, well now it’s a thousand times worse. My parents, the only ones who aren’t afraid of me, are gone. It is just me and my brother. I have never felt more lonely than I do now. And I haven’t had a premonition in a long time. I suppose this is how normal girls feel but I am not sure. Well, I am off to the gardens and to see if I can bring George closer to me.
